I prefer to run for a ball than for a bullet.
I prefer to run for a ball than for a bullet.
This is one of my favorite photos because it represents a mixture of feelings that changes between the most opposite like anger and love.
That canvas we did with some friends one day we wanted to do an activity for children in a square in my neighborhood, But everything went wrong because a family of drug traffickers got into a fight in the middle of the activity and everything ended up in shots, people running and children crying.
It fills me with anger to think that we can not use our quiet seats, that we can not play, that we can not leave our homes. However, I feel a deep love for my neighborhood, it is for her and for the children that I am studying today.
They give me all the motivation I need to get up every morning and come to the university, which is a very unpleasant place, but I need it to be able to make a change.
This photo is from the El Castillo carnival, where we take out to show our canvas to all the neighbors. Now in every activity that we do we put it, because we want to deliver a message to each person in the population, we want to avoid that another child dies because of crazy bullets.
