Santiago

From the perspective of psychology it is quite difficult to analyze Santiago, because my career studies the individual behaviour and relationships with others, interacts, develops, etc.

However, to follow the line of my classmate, I can say that seeing the different types of neighborhoods in Santiago, are very influential in the development and identity of people.

For example, I live in El Castillo in La Pintana, a highly stigmatized neighborhood, but what is not shown is that we have our own identity, which only we as neighbors understand. And from that we organize our lives.

It happens in the same way with more affluent neighborhoods, for example, the residents of Las Condes, who are threatened by social housing in their sector, because they feel that it may affect the dynamics and lifestyle they are used to.
